The first ground breaking ceremony of the Global Investors Summit is proposed to be organized in September, preparations are on for it. Divisional Commissioner Aligarh Navdeep Rinwa reviewed its implementation on Saturday. He said that land should be made available to the investors who are demanding, so that the construction of industrial units could start at the earliest.

A total of 892 investment proposals have been received in Aligarh division till June, in which an investment of Rs 71265.36 crore is proposed. A total of 53 investors have demanded land in Mandal, out of which 47 have been given the option of land. DM Aligarh and Etah were directed to send land proposals to the investors. A total of 20 investors have applied to declare their agricultural land as non-agricultural under section 80. Its responsibility was given to the Deputy Commissioner Industries to coordinate with the investors and SDM to complete the said work. District Magistrate Hathras Archana Verma said that six cases related to change of land use are pending from the level of Yamuna Expressway Authority. On this, the Divisional Commissioner said that after talking to the Chief Executive Officer of the Yamuna Expressway Authority, get it resolved.

All the District Magistrates have been directed to hold talks with the concerned departments and investors and identify the investment proposals to be implemented in September and get them registered on the Project Facilitation Form available on the Nivesh Sarathi portal. The Divisional Commissioner said that the problems of entrepreneurs and investors should be resolved by holding regular meetings of district level MoU implementation unit and district level Udyog Bandhu.

All departmental officers including DM Aligarh Indravikram Singh, DM of Etah Ankit Agarwal, DM of Kasganj Harshita Mathur, DM of Hathras Archana Verma were present in the review meeting. The operation was done by Joint Commissioner Industries Virendra Kumar.
